Close Encounters......

Friday afternoon is mummy and Munchkin time with Munchkin's mates. However, it was called off today due to snot, drool, teeth, phlegm...the usual so Daddy had to put up with our company rather than have his free afternoon to do important Daddy things like, sleep, snooze, snore etc etc. We decided to head into town as it was a rather nice (and dry) afternoon so after doing the rounds at the butcher's amongst others we decided to grab a cuppa and a piece of cake at the usual haunt.

Orders were placed and Munchkin was strapped into his seat. All was happy, food and drink arrived and we were all eating and drinking happily when something appeared next to Munchkin. This little something was...well.....little, very blonde and female. Munchkin turned round and waved at her and gave her a little smile. She waved back and then just stood there...staring at me. I wasn't sure whether to engage or to ignore. I chose the former...but was greeted by a steely stare. The silent starer then proceeded to cough at Munchkin and attempted to lick his hand. We ignored this....and the behaviour continued (well, at least she was consistent and predictable)

It got to the point where we were feeling a tad uncomfortable so Daddy walked over the to owner of the silent starer and pointed out that she was coughing (open mouthed and quite deliberate, I might add) on Munchkin. The hand licking wasn't mentioned (thought that would be a tad freaky even for the mother)

Strange or what?
