Bother!

T is working all weekend and the weather forecast is....GRIM to say the very least. I had it all planned out. I was going to be working out in the garden, getting the flower beds turned and summer bulbs in so that Mama would have some colour to welcome her in August. Also, a tidy up is needed so we are not shamed when Mama arrives and shakes her head in dismay at the state of the beds - pristine when Mama & Papa left them last year. Mr Weather says "No-can-do!"

So, Munchkin and I are confined to the indoors cave. This morning we have been playing in boxes and playing tag with the cats. Munchkin is IT. He "crawls" along on his tummy after the unsuspecting cats until they jump into an empty storage box. He then shimmies up to the box and peers at them and giggles. This is a GREAT game.

Munchkin and I will also probably be entering the baking cave this afternoon at this rate. Cakes are called for in times of bad weather. It is all win really, the house is warm (and smells nice) as the oven is on and we get to indulge later on. Not with tea or coffee though. The household no longer has these beverages on a regular basis. Wot? Even T? Yes! Even T! T has discovered Rooibos tea (red bush) and actually prefers the stuff to tea or coffee. Wonders never cease.
